First Annual PAPBS Implementers' Forum: "Going to Scale with PBIS"
More than 700 administrators, educators and behavioral health agency personnel attended the First Annual “Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Implementers' Forum: Going to Scale with PBIS," on May 18-19, 2011.
2011 School Recognition
On Thursday, January 13, 2011, 12 schools were recognized by the Pennsylvania Positive Support Network during a breakfast meeting with Dr. Rob Horner at the Pennsylvania Department of Education Conference held at the Hershey Lodge. These schools were recognized for implementing the universal level of SWPBS with fidelity. Each school received a letter of commendation and a banner to display at their school. Second Annual Forum Recognizes Schools and Programs
Approximately 1,000 people attended the Second PAPBS Implementers’ Forum on May 23-24, 2012 in Hershey. Forty-nine schools and nine early childhood programs were recognized for implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) with fidelity. Keynote presentations and several workshops featured speakers known nationally for their leadership and expertise in developing the PBIS model, and implementing and evaluating it. Many of the programs and schools involved with PBIS presented workshops describing their experience and providing tips and resources for others. A brief presentation on the most recent evaluation highlighted how schools that are implementing PBIS with fidelity have increased their PSSA test scores in reading and math.
2011-2012 Program-Wide and School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Recognition
Fifty-eight schools and early childhood programs were recognized at the Second Annual PAPBS Implementers’ Forum held on May 23-24, 2012. Early childhood programs were recognized and received their award banner from Dr. Mary Louise Hemmeter, associate professor in the Department of Special Education at Vanderbilt University who gave the keynote presentation on May 23. On Thursday, May 24, during Dr. Lucille Eber’s opening keynote, elementary, middle schools and high schools were recognized for operating with fidelity at the Universal Level for at least one academic year. Third Annual PAPBS Implementers' Forum Session Videos
The 2013 Implementers’ Forum on "Expansion with Fidelity" was held May 29-30, 2013 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The forum was sponsored by the Bureau of Special Education, Pennsylvania Department of Education, with support from the member agencies of Pennsylvania’s State Leadership Team (SLT) for School Based Behavioral Health (SBBH).

Fourth Annual PAPBS Implementers' Forum Session Videos and handouts
The fourth annual PAPBS Implementers' Forum (May 28-29,2014) was successfully received and featured record-breaking attendance. The 2014 Forum introduced several new activities, including a film festival and poster session that allowed local implementers to showcase the great happenings from their sites. The Forum's opening keynote session highlighted youth perspectives on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and included two live presentations by youth affiliated with Minding Your Mind (http://mindingyourmind.org/). Presentations throughout the Forum were organized by multiple content strands including Universal Tier 1 exemplars, advanced tier supports, inter-connected systems/ systems of care, family and community partnerships, early childhood implementation, coaching, higher education, and high school implementation. The forum also highlighted several nationally acclaimed speakers with expertise in PBIS, including Drs. George Sugai and Kevin Moore. Sixth Annual PAPBS Implementers Forum (May 5 & 6, 2016)
Over 1300 participants attended the 6th annual Implementers’ Forum held at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center on May 5 & 6, 2016. With contributions from researchers and implementers in the field, the Implementer’s Forum addressed specialized program strands at the early childhood, elementary, middle and high school and higher education levels.

Of the 213 recognized, seventy-one schools/programs were acknowledged for meeting their first year of fidelity to Tier 1; 114 schools/programs were recognized for sustaining Tier 1 with fidelity; 22 schools/programs for Tier 2 and 6 schools/programs for all tiers. 280 schools and programs were recognized and honored during the May 16 & 17, 2017 Implementers Forum.
Of the 280 recognized, 90 schools/programs were acknowledged for meeting their first year of fidelity to Tier 1; 133 schools/programs were recognized for sustaining Tier 1 with fidelity; 39 schools/programs for implementing Tier 1 and Tier 2 with fidelity; and 18 schools/programs implementing all three tiers with fidelity.
